Aaron Williams bought his first vinyl at Peaches Records at age 8. Eventually he started DJ'ing throughout Denver with a single Technics 1200 and a tape deck in his '69 VW Bug. He went on to study audio engineering with mentors and artists such as Steve Albini, Nic Collins, and Alex Kolkowski at the Art Institute of Chicago, where he received his MFA. Later in Los Angeles, he studied disc cutting with legendary Len Horowitz and together they built MilkLight's custom Grampian Gotham disc cutting system. In 2014, Aaron moved his family back to Denver, where he currently operates MilkLight Records.
